through arctic lapland and PD
There is always something wrong (like typographical errors, nonsense characters....) with all of these old texts in EPUB form. The only place I've found that not to be true is Project Gutenberg, wh has pretty much perfect EPUB. So, even for my own use, I often have to edit texts I get in EPUB form.
In thie US, this is absolutely in the public domain. Is it not in France? Is this what the restrictive tag means? The book itself is great. It is the fact that I have to wonder about copyright with something that I know is absolutely PD in my country that bothers me a little, so that's why the three stars. I see Google has an edition (in PDF). It states "not in copyright" which means PD.
